GAME 15 - Bangalore Royal Challengers v Chennai Super Kings
April 30th 2008 07:21
CHENNAI 5/178 (Dhoni 65 M.Hussey 47 - Z.Khan 3/38 P.Kumar 1/29)
BANGALORE 165 ALL OUT (W.Jaffer 50, Taylor 53 - Gony 3/34 Joginder Singh 2/27
CHENNAI won by 13 runs
This was the game that Bangalore gave away not once but twice - having contained the Chennai batting line up with some good bowling Bangalore conceeded a flurry of late runs as the tournaments most expensive player - Indian captain MS Dhoni hammered the living daylights out of the Bangalore attack and was ably supported my Michael "Mr Cricket" Hussey. They got to a respectable but not insommountable total of 178.
The chase started well for Bangalore - , Wasim Jaffer and Rod Taylor each posted half cenuries but didn't go on with the job this was followed by a batting collapse that saw wickets tumble including that of hapless Bangalore captain Raul Dravid.
Chennai keep on going - they are top of the table and are looking very very strong at this point in the competition. Bangalore are really struggling at the other end of the table and don't look like finishing in the places.
