A forgotten man of Indian cricket, he set the world on fire when he debuted a few years ago in the Indian team with Irfan Pathan. He has an excellent domestic record at the shorter form of the game - will also be very keen to impress in this competition

Napoleon Einstein

Age 18 years 225 days

Teenager with limited experience. He also has the best name in the competition. Actually he has the best name of anybody in cricket and possibly the best name ever.

Stephen Fleming

Age 34 years 362 days

Batting Left-hand bat

Classy Left handed batsman who at his peak can elegantly destroy an attack. Also a renowned tactician and considered New Zealand's finest ever captain.

Awesome bullying belliegerent Australian batsman. He can destroy a team by putting up a brick wall to wear them down or can go on the most fierce counter attack belting the opposition into submission. He will enjoy this competition but will Indian crowds take to him given the international tussle between him and Harbhajan Singh?

Michael Hussey

Age 32 years 306 days

Playing role Opening batsman
Batting Left-hand bat
Bowling Right-arm medium

Australia's Mr Cricket. Fine Batsman who can adapt to the situation as it arises. Outstanding record in all forms of the game. A mature cool head can bat anywhere in the order.

South African allrounder who has an outstanding record at one day cricket and is dveloping into a Twenty20 specialist. WIll be pivotal in this team.

Indian under 19 star. A classy batsman

The world record holder and arguably the best bowler the game has seen. Has an very very good record at one day cricket to back up his test records. Interesting to see how this great of the longer forms of the game goes in this competition but his guile and craft will be an asset to this team.

Makhaya Ntini

Has been the leader of the South African Pace attack for some years now. A very very good record at international one day level should stand hiim in good stead in this competition.

Playing role All-rounder
Batting Left-hand bat
Bowling Right-arm fast-medium

Big Hitting Kiwi allrounder. Will be a crowd pleaser especially if he can clear the pickets as often as he does in one day cricket. A fearsome striker of a cricket ball who also can bowl good fast medium spells

Parthiv Patel
Wicketkeeper

Age 23 years 19 days

Batting Left-hand bat

Former Indian wicket keeper who lost his place due to some technical deficiences behind the stumps. Courageous little batsman will only be back up to MS Dhoni who owns the wicket keeping position

One of the few men to have played test cricket for two countries (Australia and South Africa) gave people in Australia great entertainmen in the 80's with his unbuttoned shirt, stodgy batting and funny accent
