GAME 20 - Chennai Super Kings v Delhi Daredevils
May 5th 2008 05:16
CHENNAI 6/169 (Vidyut 54, Dhoni 32 , Morkel 28 - McGrath 1/21)
DELHI 2/172 (Sehwag 71, Gambhir 50, De Villiers 26no)
DELHI wins by 8 wickets with 6 balls to spare.
Another great batting performance by Delhi. First they stated by limiting the Previously unbeaten Chennai Super Kings to a moderate 169. Glen Mc Grath continues to be one of the best bowlers in the tournament and coupled with the talent at the top of the Delhi batting order will take the team a long way.
None of the Chennai batsmen really got going though Vidyut, Dhoni and Morkel all showed glimpses of the form that had them on top of the table.
When Delhi came out to bat both Gambhir and Sehwag got into the swing of it each posting half centuries. Ntini and Muralitharan each bowled economical spells but they really needed to take wickets to have an impact on this game. AB DeVilliers and the ever reliable Dharwan saw Delhi reach the target with an over to spare
Delhi and Chennai are both going to play in the finals of thie tournament. Delhi are starting to look really really good
