Well you only have to look at this list to realise why this team is the favourite to win the competition. If 20 Twenty cricket is about bash and crash then this team is the most and best bashers and crashers going around with some genuine class to bat around in the middle order and lots of allrounder to hit as well as bowl.
They will bat all the way down and will be supported by a clever left arm bowling attack - but this team will be about big hitting - two of Australia's great entertainers in Gilchrist and Symonds paired with South African dynamo Herschelle Gibbs and the world record holder for the quickest century in one day cricket Pakistani Shahid Afridi. It doesn't stop there with Kiwi allround Scott Styris and the late order hitting of Sri Lankan duo of Chamara Silva and Chaminda Vaas.
But amidst all these boundary clearing brutal hitting batsman you have the languid grace of VVS Laxman (the very very special one as he is known in Australia) and India's most exciting batsman in Rohit Sharma.
