The Delhi DareDevils
April 10th 2008 04:31
DareDevil by name and DareDevil by nature - that's if they all play the way their captain Virender Sehwag does. While this franchise doesn't have the depth that some of the others do the squad has its fair share of individual talent, solid cricketers and fierce competitors. With a bit of luck who knows? Here's the full squad.
Virender Sehwag
Captain
Age 29 years 160 days
Batting Right-hand bat
Bowling Right-arm offbreak
India's dynamo at the top of the order - probably the most entertaining hitter in the country at the moment - He is the only Indian batsman to score a triple century, a feat he has managed twice putting him in the same league as Lara and Bradman. When you hear Sehwag has made a hundred you know exactly how he's done it - fast and punishingly hard.

Karthik has been the Indian side's back up keeper at test and one day level where he has international experience. An excellent defensive batsman who has shown that he can lift his run rate in the shorter forms of the game. Will probably be wicket keeper in this team.
